10+ year lifespan

Annual inspection and occasional cleaning is sufficient.

Quality materials

UV-resistant TenCate fabric and durable woodwork.

Maintenance in practice

A Zazu yurt is designed with minimal maintenance in mind. The TenCate outer cover is UV-resistant, water-repellent and resistant to mold. An annual inspection of seams and fastenings is sufficient.

You can clean the cover with lukewarm water and a soft brush. Avoid pressure washers and aggressive cleaning agents. With intensive use, we recommend replacing the cover every 10-15 years.

The wooden construction is treated and lasts for decades with proper care. Check annually for moisture damage and treat the wood if necessary.
